About Me

I have been teaching math at Prosser Career Academy in Chicago since 2005.  Since 2010 I have been one of the Freshmen On Track coordinators which allows me to focus on helping freshmen acclimate to the high school experience through one-on-one meetings, Saturday school sessions, and individualized tutoring.  I have been the mathematics department chairperson since 2009 and serve on the Instructional Leadership Team.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education from Loras College, a Master’s Degree in Mathematics Education from DePaul University, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education.  I am currently pursuing Graduate Certificate in STEM Teaching and Learning from Michigan State University.
